Triton is the UK's No.1 shower manufacturer providing the
best quality, innovation, product styling and performance, all at
exceptional value for money.
The company was formed in 1975 and quickly built up a reputation for
excellent products which satisfied the needs of a rapidly developing market
for showers. By 1987, Triton had become the clear market leader and was
acquired by the Norcros group, which specialises in building products.
Building on its dominant market position during the 1990's, the company
developed a host of exciting new products which means that today Triton
offers the most comprehensive range of mixer, power and electric showers in
the UK. At the company's head office and purpose built factory in Nuneaton,
Warwickshire, Triton employs 500 people, all dedicated to developing and
manufacturing products of the highest quality and value.
Triton continues to look to the future and is constantly striving to
introduce new products with increased performance and control levels. The
recently introduced T300si remote electric shower and high performance
Domina mixer showers illustrate Triton's commitment to innovation, quality
and value for money.
Because everyone's showering needs are different, Triton
offer the biggest range of showers in Britain. The range falls into three
categories: Mixer, Power and Electric. To help you decide, follow the simple
guide below.
MIXER
Mixer showers draw
from both the hot and cold water supplies and usually provide higher flow
rates than electric showers. Ideal for homes with readily available hot
water.
With Triton mixer
showers you have a superb choice of high performance options including the
finest control features that are safe and easy to use for all the family.
Triton's extensive mixer shower range includes both manual and thermostatic
models together with a range of exquisite antique style showers. Options are
available for both traditional low pressure gravity fed systems (with stored
hot and cold water) and high pressure systems (e.g. combination boilers).
The models with
thermostatic control maintain your selected temperature, even if a tap is
turned on elsewhere in the house, and will shut off automatically in the
event of either the hot or cold water supplies failing. Some models feature
an adjustable maximum temperature stop which, set at the highest comfortable
level, will prevent young hands accidentally turning the control up too
high.
Uniquely designed,
all Triton mixer showers are simple to install. There is a wide choice of
colour options including White/Chrome Effect, All-White, White/Gold Effect,
All-Chrome and All-Gold, most with variable sprayheads.
POWER
The ultimate in
exhilarating shower performance. Similar to a mixer shower but with the
added benefit of a pump to boost the flow rate. Pumps are available
separately to upgrade existing mixer showers.
Triton boasts a
sensational range of invigorating power showers. They offer the stylish
qualities and control features of the mixer shower range, but with even more
invigorating performance.
Power showers are
similar to mixer showers, but use a pump to boost the flow rate. The pump
can either be part of the unit (an 'all-in-one' power shower) or can be
separate from the mixer valve (a power shower pack) positioned, for example,
under the bath or in an airing cupboard.
ELECTRIC
Economical. Quick and easy to install. Connected to the
cold mains supply, the water is heated as it passes through the unit.
Triton boasts the
biggest range of electric showers in Europe, and with fifteen models to
choose from, you're spoilt for choice. You'll find everything from the
low-cost T50i to the state-of-the-art thermostatically controlled
Millennium. Simply select the features you'd like and choose a style to
match. As a general guide to power, the higher the kilowatt rating, the more
powerful the shower (the 10.5kW T80si Extra is the most powerful).
Because Triton
electric showers simply heat cold water from the mains, they are the most
economical showers to run. For extra economy, most of our electric shower
range also features an economy setting which can be used throughout the
summer months when the incoming water is naturally warmer and requires less
heating.
If you are looking
for a shower with extra safety features, particularly if you have younger
children, then choose the revolutionary Triton Millennium with the most
precise thermostatic control of any electric shower. The Millennium's
thermostatic control ensures that the water temperature will not increase by
more than 1°C of the selected temperature.
Other features to
look out for include the variable spray patterns and our choice of
White/Chrome Effect, All-White or White/Gold Effect finishes.

fascias, and the new Colourwave models which are available in a selection of
inspirational colours to suit your bathroom decor.
Speciality
Triton
manufacture Trimix, the first TMV3 approved
L shaped thermostatic mixing valve, and are the number one shower
manufacturer specified in the Care market.
The Trimix valve has
exceptional thermostatic control and is suitable for sinks, washbasins,
bidets, showers and bath applications.
When providing
facilities for those with special needs the majority of both local
authorities and housing associations rely on Triton Care Showers. And with
good reason, each has been specially designed to provide the most easy and
user friendly operation, together with the most stringent safety features.
Every Triton Care Shower
has an extended riser rail allowing the sprayhead to be positioned for use
both in a standing, or seated, position and the reinforced extended hose
allows a carer to easily manoeuvre the sprayhead around anyone who needs
assistance whilst showering. The special control extension levers are also
particulary useful for people with arthritic hands.
